Viveka International School provides a reliable, safe, and well-organized transport service to ensure that students travel comfortably to and from school. Our transport system covers major nearby areas and is managed by trained staff who prioritize student safety and punctuality.

Bus Routes

Bus routes are designed to cover key residential areas surrounding the school. Typical routes include:
  • Vellakovil
  • Nearby villages and residential clusters
  • Town outskirts connected through main roads
The school updates routes every academic year based on student needs. Parents can check availability and confirm pick-up/drop points at the time of admission.

Safety Measures

Student safety is our top priority.
To ensure safe travel, the following measures are strictly implemented:
  • Well-trained and experienced drivers
  • Lady attendants/ayahs on board for KG and primary students
  • Strict boarding and deboarding protocols
  • First-aid box available in each bus
  • Mandatory speed regulations
  • Regular vehicle maintenance and inspection
  • Emergency contact numbers shared with parents
Every precaution is taken to provide a safe transport environment.
GPS / CCTV Safety (if available)

  • Buses equipped with GPS allow monitoring of real-time location.
  • CCTV surveillance in selected buses provides additional safety monitoring.
  • Parents can access location updates through the school’s transport coordinator (as applicable).

Pick-up & Drop Procedure

To ensure smooth and safe transport operations, the following procedures are followed:

Morning Pick-up

  • Students must be ready at the designated stop 5 minutes before scheduled time.
  • Drivers will not wait for late arrivals to avoid delays in the route.
  • Parents must accompany young children until they board the bus safely.

Afternoon Drop

  • Parents/guardians must be present at the drop location on time.
  • KG children are handed over only to authorised guardians.
  • If parents are unavailable, prior intimation must be given to the school.

General Rules

  • Students must follow bus etiquette and maintain discipline.
  • Leaning out of windows or standing while the bus is moving is prohibited.
  • Any transport-related concerns must be reported to the school office immediately.
